A song for Will Oldham's voice. Cecilie Anna can hear voices in her head, in a positive and creative way: Favourite voices soundtrack her life and can be experienced almost like sung conversations in her head. Will Oldhams' voice accompanied her for the first three days of her vacation on Crete in 2019.
The "I" in "Low Clowds" is standing before an ancient size: The mountain. For thousands of years its' infinite positure has divided our souls into "has been", "is", and "will be". Thematically, Will Oldham also seems to be drawn to mountains in his songs, so it's no wonder his voice wanted to sing about it.
Cecilie Anna grew up with the mighty mountains of Kvinnherad in her view. Even with a small part of Folgefonna glacier visible. She's always felt nature provides a definite concience you cannot hide from. The cover image is from a different nearby mountain, though. From Siggjo you can see the ocean. Next stop UK.
